Berceto is a small village in the Parma Apennines with interesting features, both architecturally and environmentally, representing a well-preserved example of a medieval mountain settlement. Berceto is located at approximately 850 meters above sea level, between the Taro and Baganza Valleys, along an important historical route connecting the Po Valley and Liguria (the Via Francigena and the current Cisa road).
